The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) have decided to offer international educational curriculum in Class X from the following scholastic term. Arrangements of Maharashtra government to introduce Secondary School Certificate International (SSC-I) program in 100 government schools, over the state as a team with Cambridge International Examinations (CIE), a not-for-benefit non-teaching department of the University of Cambridge.

"Our point is to raise the standard of auxiliary training under our new Pragati Shaikshanik Maharashtra activity. For this, we need to guarantee that our students are ahead at the national and global levels," said Nand Kumar, General Secretary of School Education.
