22 years old Cab driver allegedly killed in road rage
tyle="text-align:justify">A cab driver of an app based aggregator was murdered in an road rage incident on Tuesday, police said. The victim identified as, 22 years old Gaurav Chauhan, a native of a village in Bulandshahr, was killed previous night when he, along with his two cousins, was returning to Noida from Delhi after a marriage party.
Police said, Near Hotel Crowne Plaza in Delhi's Mayur Vihar, another cab driver was trying to overtake, but Gaurav did not give way. At around mid night, when they reached Noida near SSP office, Gaurav's vehicle was hit by the cab behind, which led to an argument between him and the other driver.
While Gaurav was arguing with the driver, three men came on motorbike and hit him with with sharp-edged object and also broke window panes of his cab.
Immediately after the incident Gourav rushed to the hospital where he declared dead. Gourav’s cousins filled a complaint against the unknown motorcycle driver, and Police is all on to grab accused neck.
