Hyderabad: Yesterday night, a married woman was attacked with an acid in Jeedimetla area.
According to assistant commissioner of police (Balanagar Division) N Narasimha Reddy, "the woman reportedly had extra-marital affair and a person known to her threw acid on her when she was walking down a road".
23 year old woman had wounds on her back, while acid thrower managed to escape, but the woman was taken to hospital by some locals.
