While texting your text don't use 'u' instead of you. That means you must not use short forms as it is the biggest sign of laziness. Write full words and phrases and check after writing, as there might be some grammatical mistakes. 

3. Be specific while making plans 
Be specific and direct while making plans to hang out with your date. Let the person know about your enthusiasm to meet him/her. 

4. Be original, it's okay to be funny and to joke 
Use your sense of humor while talking about your date. Don't use borrowed things and say. Keep your things lighthearted as it sounds good and original.  You need to strike a balance and ensure that you are no to overdoing your jokes.
