New Delhi: An Sunday, Assam was hit by the medium intensity earthquake, measuring 4.7 on the Richter Scale.
As per the National Center of Seismology, “a unit of Ministry of Earth Sciences, the quake hit the Dhubri region of Assam at 9.27 pm at a depth of 10 km”.
Though, no casualities have been reported so far, and the north-east region is the area of high-seismic zone.
