India is one of the biggest markets in the world, and its citizens are very influenced by the technologies, they love to try new gadgets. Thus tech firms of the world expand their market in India. Recently a study conducted by the Counterpoint Research firm stated that more than 200 million 4G phones will be sold in India in upcoming 5 years.
As per the reports, "We estimate close to 60 million units of 4G-capable feature phones could ship this year globally from almost a million units last year, with India potentially contributing to almost half of that this year."
More information written on the reports stated, "More than 400 million feature phones were sold globally in 2016 and we saw smartphone market growth slowdown to 3 per cent (year-on-year), portraying that the easy days of smartphone growth are over."
