Egypt: criminal court sentenced death to 8 alleged Muslim Brotherhood members. According to Egypt’s national newspaper Al-Ahram, "death sentence was passed by a court in Damanhur and requires the approval of the nation’s grand mufti"
The guilty were charged with storming a police station and harming an officer in the city of Damanhur northwest of Cairo in 2015.
