Nashik: The nine persons has been arrested in the incident of ransacking of vehicles due to which there was a delay in the counting of votes at the award in the Nashik civic body as per said by police.

The police as per the sources news said "The police also had to fire some rounds in the air to disperse a mob of BJP and Shiv Sena supporters who clashed outside the Meenatai Thackeray stadium, where counting of votes forward no. 3 was in progress yesterday"

Machhindra Sanap, the son of  MLA Balasaheb Sanap was announced elected from group A of ward no. 3. After which activists of Shiv Sena said that the EVMs showed excess votes than actually polled in the ward. Due to which the clash led between the Bjp and Shiv Sena workers.
