The most awaited feature of operating system Android Nougat’s is “Night Mode”. This night mode is almost alike Apple’s night shift feature. When Google launch its new operating system for smartphone, it previews of this feature as well. But later on, this feature is missing from the Nexus Phone. Company said Night mode feature is not complete till now.
Now, the good news arrived with Nougat’s 7.1 update. Company includes this feature in the update for Nexus users. After the release of Nougat a thread posted by company on its issue tracker named “Bring Back Night Mode”. But now it’s changed into “Future Release”. It shows that company is going to include this night mode it is future release, soon. Future release which is coming soon is obviously android Nougat 7.1 Update. Of course users might have to wait for longer if the company decides to push out the feature with a future update.
The highlighting feature of this “Night Mode” is automatically adjusting the color temperature of the screen for preventing user’s eye for excessive straining. There are so many apps are already present in Google play store like Flux, which helps in adjusting color temperature of the screen. But providing this feature in the system is extremely useful for the users.
The team pointed out that the implementation on an ecosystem-wide scale was difficult, and work on the features was not judged to be a sound allocation of resources.
