Apple launched iPhone 7 last month and with that they made a bold move to completely remove 3.5mm Jack. Now users can only use Bluetooth headsets with the phone to get hands free usage which is why Apple also launched a wireless AirPods with the phones. This was considered as a very bold move, especially considering the fact that all the others brands are still using the 3.5mm Jack with their phones.
Initially there were reports that the company will be starting to ship the Air Pods in the October but there is a news that this will be delayed now. As per the latest report, this accessory wont be launched before January. As per the report published in the DigiTimes, the manufacturer of the AirPods, Inventec will start the shipping the AirPods by January 2017. Also it is expected that the overall revenue of the company may grow by about 7% riding on the orders of AirPods.
If the report of the delay is true they Apple may find itself in a mess as they don’t have any other wireless product apart from EarPods. Having said that there have been another report from Apple which claims that company will anyhow launch the product by end of the year and wont delay it will next year. AirPods are expected to arrive at a cost of about $159 and in India they would cost at Rs. 15,400. Airpods are one of the Apples finest innovation which will have W1 chip that can ensure seamless connectivity and also detect hand gestures.
