New Delhi: on Monday, the top court will be going to hear the bail appeal of Asaram Bapu. On October 3, the apex court has been told by the medical board of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) that the Asaram Bapu’s health condition was stable. The Rape accused, Asaram, had denied to undergo several tests, said the seven-member board in its report.
After that, the Supreme Court refused an interim bail to Asaram in a rape case on August 11 and also asked AIIMS to establish a medical board to determine his health condition.
Asaram, the self styled godman was taken into custody on August 31, 2013, in a rape case and has been in jail since then.
