With new female lead Star Plus' Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon hit the television. Though, starring Barun Sobti, the show is failed to rake in the TRP numbers.

Recently in an interview, Barun was asked about the feedback he has been getting for the show. "We've been getting a mixed feedback, but most of what we have heard that it is getting better. And I guess, that's how it should be. Not everything should be revealed all at once," the actor said.

He was also asked about the low TRPs of the show. To this, the actor said, "It's okay ya. I think we opened on a good TRP. It definitely wasn't what we expected, but we opened at good numbers. Usually, of what I've seen with Gul's shows, they get better with time."

"Because the characters have so many layers, it takes time for the unlayering otherwise you cannot justify if everything is shown within a day. So, I'm sure it is going to get better," he added.
