Bomb blasts in Pakistan, 15 killed, more than 20 injured

At least 17 people have died and over 20 injured in a bomb blast in Pakistan's Quetta city on Saturday. The blast happened in the parking lot near the Pishin bus stop, which is a high-security area.

According to the Pakistani media, the target of the bomb blast was a Pakistani Army personnel. The death toll has increased to 17.

Balochistan Home Minister Mir Sarfraj Bugti said that it appears that the bomb was placed in a vehicle standing near the bus stop.

Bugti said the investigation is underway, but I can confirm that this was a big explosion and about two dozen people have been injured, who have been taken to nearby hospitals.

It is reported in the news of the World Channel that 12 bodies were brought to the hospital and the dead bodies were badly burned. The explosion was so frightening that its voice was heard far and it became alarming that some vehicles and auto rickshaws were damaged.
