In the opening round of the men's double event yesterday the Indian tennis ace Rohan Bopanna and his Uruguayan partner Pablo Cuevas were defeated by the French-Canadian team of Fabrice Martin and Daniel Nesto.
The Indo-Uruguayan pair lost 3-6, 2-6 toFrench-Canadian team. Last month at the Barcelona Open Rohan Bopanna and Pablo Cuevas lost the match.
Bopanna is now ranked 18 in the world while Cuevas is ranked 24 in the doubles and 26 in the singles.
