London: The UK has issued security advisory to its citizens traveling to India after convicting Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh in a case of rape. Issuing security advocacy, there has been a possibility of further violence.
The travelers who visit India are advised to follow the advice of the local authorities. It has also been asked to monitor the local media and stay in touch with the travel company.
According to Britain, "British Council of the British Deputy High Commission and Chandigarh will remain closed until Monday 28 August in view of the possibility of further fierce violence. Local road and rail travel can also be affected during this period."
At the same time, according to a news from Canada, the government of that country has also asked its citizens to be careful about their travels to India.
