Coconut burfi recipe - Sweetness in every form!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh or dessicated coconut
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup full cream milk
  • 1 tsp ghee
  • 5 cardamom
  • 10 chopped cashews

Method:

  • In a kadai take a cup of coconut
  • Add 3/4 cup of sugar
  • Mix until the sugar melts
  • Add the milk and mix till it starts leaving the pan
  • Add the ghee
  • Add few chopped cashews
  • Add cardamom powder and mix
  • Transfer on to a plate that is greased with ghee
  • Press into a square shape.
  • Take a knife and cut into square shapes
  • additionally, add cardamom powder.
  • Allow to cool and serve.
