Suresh Prabhu, the Railway Minister yesterday went to Surat to attend a function organised at the Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry building. There he was dodged by Congress Workers posing as BJP.

As Prabhu stepped down they garlanded him with a black cloth. This took place as the Congress workers were neglected and detained by police after the incident which occurred in Nanpura locality.

Congress workers were already present there before he came. Police managed to control the situation and keep the protesters at a distance but 12 reached near to Suresh Prabhu.

Though police have arrested all the protesters and IPC section of 143, 145, 147, 149, 151, 353, 120B is charged against them.

However, Prabhu attended the programmes. Gujarat Congress spokesperson Manish Doshi as per the sources news said they will continue similar protests against the BJP’s anti-people policies Centre’s indifference towards Gujarat.
