Big Boss fame Mandana Karimi has lodged an FIR against her husband Gaurav Gupta over domestic violence. The couple got married in January but now according to Mandana, she was forced to leave her matrimonial house a few weeks ago. So she filed a case.

As per Mandana's lawyer Madhukar Dalvi, "We have filed a domestic violence case, it's an application under section 12 of the protection of women in domestic violence act at the Andheri court and the court has released notices to all the concerned people and it will be held on July 15, when we have our hearing.The interim release that we are seeking is to allow us to stay in the matrimonial house and provide us with compensation and maintenance caused due to the harassment. "It has been six weeks that she is out from her house and just from the past six-seven days, her husband Gaurav has stopped being in touch and isn't responding."

"Regarding her issues with her mother-in-law, we have added it in the interim appealed to the court which will be produced on July 15. It is not a divorce case but to attain the rights of a legally wedded wife. But until now Gaurav has chosen not to respond to the notices sent yesterday," added the lawyer.
