Novak Djokovic who is on World number two reached the semi-finals of the Madrid Masters as Japan's Kei Nishikori can't play the match due to the recurrence of a wrist injury in Spain.
Last month, Nishikori, the world number eight, was also forced to withdraw from the Barcelona Open due to the injury.
Djokovic, on the other hand, has made it to his first semi-final since he won the Qatar Open in January.
