Eggless Semolina and Coconut Cake is a unique cake. It is made with semolina (rava) instead of plain flour, which is usually used to make cakes.

Ingredients of Eggless Semolina and Coconut Cake

2 cup semolina

2 teaspoon cornflour

1 cup yoghurt (curd)

1 teaspoon baking soda

4 tablespoon milk

2 pinch salt

2 cup powdered sugar

2 cup grated coconut

1 cup melted butter

2 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon vanilla essence

How to make Eggless Semolina and Coconut Cake

Step 1

To start with, let's take a cake tin and grease it with melted butter. Dust the cake tin with the plain flour and sift the flour to make it settle evenly on the tin. Shake the tin to remove extra four and keep it aside.

Step 2

Take a deep bowl and add all the ingredients one by one. Mix all the ingredients with the help of the spatula and make sure there are no lumps in the batter.

Step 3

Now, pour the batter into the cake tin and spread it evenly with the help of the spatula. Cover the cake tin with the aluminium foil and make sure that no air can pass. Keep it aside for 2 hours. Pre-heat the oven at 180°c for 40 minutes.

Step 4

Remove the aluminium foil from the tin and bake it in the preheated oven. Take out the cake tin and let it cool for 15 minutes and de-mould it.

Step 5

Cut it into pieces and garnish it with grated coconut. The cake is ready to be served immediately.
