Election Commission of India to hold its Electronic Voting Machine hacking challenge today

The  Election Commission of India (ECI) yesterday announced that today from 10:00 AM it will hold its Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) hacking challenge as scheduled.

The PIL filed by Nainital resident Dr Ramesh Pandey seeking a stay on the challenge was dismissed by the Uttarakhand High Court.

The Nationalist Congress Party ( NCP) and the Communist Party of India (Marxist) were the only two parties that registered for the hackathon challenge. Both the parties have nominated three persons for the challenge.
