Malkangiri: A major encounter conducted near Malkangiri, at Andhra Pradesh-Odisha border killing at least 21 maoists and injuring two policemen.
“Yesterday night, Greyhound commandos of the Andhra Pradesh police attacked a Maoist camp deep in the forests, where at least 50-60 Maoists had gathered for a meeting,” an official added.
Also, three AK-47 and SLRs have been recovered from them.
