Another tournament wins for king Federer as he goes on to win Shanghai Masters in two straight sets. Another Blockbuster showdown witnessed as this two supergiant of the game collides after a long time. The final of Shanghai Masters between tennis greats Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal. While Federer came from a set down to beat Juan Martin Del Potro in the semifinals of the ATP Shanghai Masters on Saturday, Nadal had earlier in the day overcome Marin Cilic 7-5, 7-6. Federer beat the Argentine 3-6, 6-3, 6-3 to progress to the final. It is never easy to pick a favorite between Nadal and Federer despite the Spaniard holding a better head-to-head record as they go into their 38th meeting. Or the fact that Nadal is on a 15 match winning streak which has seen him win the US Open and the China Open last week. For Nadal, though, the challenge will be to pick up his first win against Federer this season having lost to the Swiss at the Australian Open, Indian Wells, and Miami. Nadal gave a tough time to the Swiss, delaying his victory but not good enough to deny it. The 36-year old Federer has now won all four meetings with Nadal this year. With age, he is only becoming stronger! This is his 27th Masters 1000 title and is now also in contention for the world No 1 ranking this season.
