New Delhi: On Thursday, a shop in north Delhi's Kamla Nagar market catches fire in which properties worth lakhs of rupees were ruined. No one injured in the incident.

According to Delhi Fire Services official, “an emergency call was received around 11.50 am with the caller saying the basement of a ladies purse shop located on Kolhapur Road in Kamla Nagar market had caught fire.”

“Fourteen fire tenders were rushed to the spot and by 1.45 pm the blaze that had spread to other floors was doused”, added the officer.

Around Rs. 10-15 lakh property destroyed due to fire.
