New Delhi: In outer Delhi's Sultanpuri area fire broke out in a  four-storeyed house yesterday. In the incident, a seven-months pregnant woman and her niece died in a blaze.

The deceased have been identified as Anjali (30) and her niece, Aditi (13) who were charred to death while Anjali's daughter, Taviska (8) sustained burn injuries and is critical.

The house is of the  Ramthirtha Bhardwaj and is in Krishna Vihar and one of Bhardwaj sons got married last night itself. Anjali was his daughter-in-law while Aditi was his grand-daughter.

The senior police official as per the sources news said that the fire broke due to an explosion in the compressor of the air-conditioner. The fire spread to the curtains and the wooden doors.
