Huawei’s roadmap of rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat update is leaked

In January 2017, P8 Lite is launched by the Huawei, which is running on Android 7.0 Nougat-  based EMUI 5.0 out of the box.  And after reviewing the good result, the company is planning to update it's all mid-range Smartphones. We know this because; the company's roadmap for releasing EMUI 5.0 to its other mid-range smartphones has been leaked.

 

Those phones which are chosen by the company for the update are Huawei's Honor 6X, Honor Note 8, Huawei Nova, and Huawei G9 Plus. These phones definitely get the update during the current year. The time period for getting the update is, Huawei Nova, get the update in March. Honor Note 8 and Huawei G9 Plus get the update in April.  The Honor 6X and the MediaPad M3 tablet will receive the Android Nougat-based EUI 5.0 update sometime in May.

 

According to the company, the new EMUI 5.0 ROM is coming with a lot of improvements in interface design and security. Huawei claims that with EMUI 5.0 'the user can activate 90 percent of the main functions in only two or three clicks'. Moreover, machine learning understands which apps are used more often and are resource optimised automatically.

 

The battery life of the phone is also improved by the new feature. This time it is coming with the inbuilt ‘App Lock’ feature. With the help of ‘App Lock,’ you can lock any specific app or any other apps with a unique password for added security.
