Here are some effective plans for the candidates who all are going to apply for IBPS 2017 examinations.It is the biggest problem to all candidates that they don't have enough time to prepare themselves in the last movement. Because the total time allotted to attempt a paper is a lot less compared to the number and difficulty level of the questions. In most instances, candidates fail to attempt questions despite knowing the answers or end up making silly mistakes because they are pressed for time. This makes it essential for the candidates to master the art of managing time effectively.

1.Decide beforehand which section you are going to attempt first in the exam; pick what you’re good at first and try out the easiest questions.

2.Leave a question that you do not know; spending extra minutes over a difficult question will not help.

3.General awareness, computer, and English are considered the easiest and least time-consuming sections.Try attempting these sections first.

4.Do not hesitate to skip lengthy and time-consuming questions like puzzles in reasoning. The goal is to attempt the maximum questions in the given time.

5.Plan more time for reasoning and quant as both these sections require extra minutes.

6.Attempt as many mock tests as possible; this will improve your knowledge, as well as speed in figuring out quick answers to problems.Section-wise time management yips for IBPS PO and IBPS Clerk 2017 exam:

-General Awareness

7.Picking this as one of the first sections to attempt in the IBPS exams helps as it is less time-consuming.

8.On an average, do not spend more than 12 minutes in this section.

-Computer

9. It’s suggested that you pick the computer section as the first or the second section to answer.

10.It does not involve problem-solving and can be completed within 6-10 minutes.

-English Language

11.If you are confident in English, try to answer this section in the beginning.

12.Attempt error detection, synonym, antonym etc.

13.Pick one comprehension first, read and understand carefully and only then move to the next one.

14.On an average, plan to keep aside 15 -18 minutes for the English section.

-Reasoning

15.Solve the easiest ones first like inequalities, data sufficiency, blood relations, number series etc.

16.Choose seating arrangement over puzzle as it consumes relatively less time

17.On an average, plan 30 minutes for this section.

-Quantitative Aptitude
18.As this section is time-consuming, plan to keep aside at least 30 minutes for this section

19.Attempt questions you are more confident with first and then move to tricky ones

20.Spending more time on one question is a definite no.
