Indian Premier League 2017: The tenth edition of the IPL has begun from April 5 and the excitement of fans is at peak. The teams participating, players, owners and especially cricket lovers are enjoying the biggest cricket tournament in India. The Grand opening of Indian Premier league happened back in 2008 and it is continuing till now. The IPL season has witnessed lots of ups and downs, victories, fights, team and players best performance, elimination of teams and other things as well.
The eight teams representing eight states of INDIA are participating and the name of them are Mumbai Indians, Gujarat Lions, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Kolkata Knight Riders, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Kings XI Punjab, Delhi Daredevils, Rising Pune Supergiants.
The name of captains of teams under whose leadership the team is playing are Mumbai Indians- Rohit Sharma, Kolkata Knight Riders-Gautam Gambhir, Sunrisers Hyderabad- David Warner, Delhi Daredevils-Zaheer Khan, Gujarat Lions-Suresh Raina, Rising Pune Supergiant- Steven Smith, Royal Challengers Bangalore-Virat Kohli, Kings XI Punja- Maxwell.
Before the beginning of the VIVO IPL tournament the auction of the players held in which Ben Stokes Sold to Rising Pune Supergiants for INR 14.5 crore making him the expensive player to be sold out in the Auction of VIVO Indian Premier League 2017. While Tymal Sold to Royal Challengers Bangalore for INR 12 crore. Meanwhile, there are were many players who were left out unsold and among it was Ishant Sharma who later on was picked up by the Kings XI Punjab.
This season there are Ten venues selected to host the matches and total sixty matches will be played between eight teams who will fight to grab the trophy of VIVO IPL 2017 title on their team name. For the very first time, there is a new change in IPL as in past seasons there used to be a single opening ceremony but this time opening ceremonies at each venue before the start of the first match at the venue is organised.
The performance of the celebrities at the following places are Amy Jackson (at Hyderabad); Shalmali Kholgade and Riteish Deshmukh (at Pune), Bhoomi Trivedi, Sachin-Jigar and Tiger Shroff (at Rajkot); Harshdeep Kaur and Disha Patani (at Indore); Benny Dayal and Kriti Sanon (at Bangalore).
This following season the opening of the Indian Premier League held in Hyderabad at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium where the match played between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). Sunrisers Hyderabad won by 35 runs and the man of the match became Yuvraj Singh. The last match of the VIVO IPL series will also be played in Hyderabad as per scheduled.
The very next match of IPL on April 6th was played between Mumbai Indians and Rising Pune Supergiant at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune where Rising Pune Supergiant won by 7 wickets and a man of the match became Steve Smith of Rising Pune Supergiant.

This team has managed to become the two-time winner of Indian Premier League and this time in IPL 2017 it is headed under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma while the head coach is Mahela Jayawardene. The Indian Team captain and player Virat Kohli is the one under whose captaincy the team is heading though due to injury he is not playing few of the initial matches. The Former Indian cricket team player has played 143 matches in the IPL and made 3271 runs out of which he made 16 half centuries.
4. Yuvraj Singh:

The Indian Captain Virat Kohli is on the top of the best players of the IPL due to his great performance. He plays from the Royal Challengers and is also the captain of the team. Virat has played 139 matches in the IPL in which he made 4110 runs.
