National Geographic every year organises Nature Photographer of the year competition in which in which phtograpers from all around the world particiapate and submit their amazing clicks. In the contest, participants become winner in four categories Animal portraits, Landscape, Action and Environment issues.

This year to the competition held and the good news is that an Indian photographer Varun Aditya won in Animal Portraits category for his picture of green snake. He captioned it 'Dragging You Deep Into The Woods'.

Varun shared his winning news on Facebook - “I HAVE WON THE FIRST PLACE IN NATGEO NATURE PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR 2016 IN “ANIMAL PORTRAITS” CATEGORY !
