Kedarnath Story Line: Mandakini aka Mukku  is performed by  debutant Sara Ali Khan is a lively, babyish girl living in Kedarnath with her family. Her father Nitish Bharadwaj  is a local chief priest and things get complex when Mukku falls in love with a muslim boy who is a local pithoo  means human porter Mansoor  which role is played by Sushant Singh Rajput.

Whereas the inter-faith love blossoms between two lead characters of different faith forms the core of the story, viewers not expect the other life-changing incident, that is about to take this sacred place of worship by rainstorm.

Kedarnath tells a familiar love story. It gets a boost due to the climactic floods that shocked civilization in the hilly town of Uttarakhand, in 2013. Young debutante Sara Ali Khan with Her first performance on celluloid has the perfect amount of fire to ignite a direct link with the audience.

The film is based on the concept that  shows locals treat Hindu pilgrims with extreme respect and where Muslim porters, have no fears in praying to Shiva and sharing the faith of the Hindu devotees.

Abhishek Kapoor and Kanika Dhillon with their writing ingeniously reflects upon the secular dynamics of Kedarnath.

The movie focuses strictly on the love story in which Mukku and Mansoor share some beautiful moments. The narrative does take a small piece too long to set up their innocent romance.

Sushant Singh supports Sara’s efforts but viewers have seen him give better performances before.
