Actress Kriti Sanon is learning local diction and language of Uttar Pradesh for her next films 'Bareilly Ki Barfi' and 'Lucknow Central' as both the films based on background of U.P.

Kriti gave two back to back hit with Sajid Nadiadwala's Heropanti and Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol starrer Dilwale. Now she is doing films based on background of Uttar Pradesh. Kriti said, "We are all doing workshops and readings together with director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari for Bareilly ki Barfi. There is someone in our team who is from UP and so he is helping us with the diction. I am also watching a few videos of the UP locals giving speeches."

"I'm trying to pick up words that they say differently. My character in Bareilly Ki Barfi is from a small town but in Lucknow Central I'm playing today's strong headed and well educated NGO worker," she added further.

Kriti will be seen alongside Ayushmann Khurrana and Rajukummar Rao in Bareilly ki Barfi  while opposite to Farhan Akhtar in Lucknow Central.
