On Saturday, a combination of Leander Paes and Vishnu Vardhan lost a match with Artem Sitak and Michael Venus. Sitak and Venus won the match by 3-6, 6-3, 7-6(6), 6-3 in last half hour.

This was very disappointing for Paes as he is hoping to win the match.The combination of Paes ranked 64th and Vishnu, ranked 338th as compared to Michael Venus and Artem Sitak are ranked 36th and 56th.

Paes doesn't give up even Indians won the first set after getting an early break, putting pressure on Michael Venus. Both Vishnu and Leander showed good touch, served well and were sharp at the net. 

After defeat Paes asked a question from an analyst, on this as per the sources news he says, " a few points here and there and the mood could have been completely different here. A fair assessment. India had their chances after dominating the first set".

At last, he said, "Whether I am picked or not is not in my hands. But I will always put my best foot forward for India".And he added,  "The Davis Cup record belongs to India".
