The police arrested a man and his wife on charges of heroin possession and negligent driving. The police as per the sources news said 'a car, which was being driven in a negligent manner, was signalled to stop by a police team at a check-post'
However, in a bid to escape, the driver rammed his vehicle into two police cars. He was soon apprehended, the police said.
They have been booked under relevant sections of the IPC and the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, they added.
