The Child Welfare Committee complaint that a lawyer had impregnated a minor girl and on the basis of this he has been arrested. The girl is an orphan.

The police official as per the sources news said ‘The 51-year-old man is married but has no child. A couple of years ago, he came in contact with the relatives of the 17 -year-old girl, who allegedly handed the girl over to him for a heft sum of money’

The lawyer was arrested and booked under relevant sections of the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
