The police have booked a man on the charge of abducting a minor girl from Ghal Kalan village in Moga district of Punjab as he wanted to marry her as per stated by police.
The SHO of Moga Sadar Police Station Rameshpal as per the sources news said 'Sadhu Singh had allegedly abducted the 17-year-old girl from her house on the intervening night of July 23 and 24'
On the complaint of the victim's mother, a case under relevant sections of the IPC, including abduction, has been registered against Singh yesterday, he said.
