'Mistaken medication' killed a boy in Ghaziabad

Ghaziabad: on Wednesday, wrong medication killed a boy at a private clinic in Vasundhra colony. An 18-year-old boy died yesterday after he was administered wrong injection at a private clinic in Vasundhra colony here, said police.

According to SHO Sheelesh Yadav, "Ankit was suffering from fever when he was taken to a private clinic in Indirapuram by his father. The relatives have said that Ankit was given wrong injection by the doctor due to whom he died within a few minutes".

"The body has been sent for postmortem. If the autopsy report confirms that the boy died due to wrong medication and if the family members register complaint in this regard, legal action will be taken," he added.
