Anshu Jamsenpa the mountaineer from Arunachal Pradesh has become the first Indian woman to scale Mount Everest for the fourth time. On May 13 she started and in the morning on Tuesday reached the highest peak.

Besides Jamsenpa, 17 other climbers also made it to the top of Mt Everest on Tuesday morning. With this, she has also become the first woman in the world to climb the Everest four times.

Earlier, Jamsenpa had scaled the Mount Everest twice within 10 days in May 2011 before again climbing the highest peak on May 18 in 2013.
