Arjun Kapoor in twin roles, Anil Kapoor, Ileana D'Cruz and Athiya Shetty starred Anees Bazmee's Mubarakan hit the theatres yesterday. Despite receiving positive reviews, the film did poor collections on the first day of its release. As per a trade site, the movie has collected INR 5 crore on day 1.
The scale of its release was high and according to the film did the unexpected collection. The film was expected to do better collections in Delhi and Punjab. However, that hasn't happened.
Now, the makers hope for the best for weekend's collection.
