The new app is designed in a way that it can manage to detect autism in less than a minute. According to the scientist, with the tracking of movement of eyes, it can identify that child is showing signs of autism spectrum disorder or not. And scientist also mentions that this early detection will definitely help in treatment and improves the result of treatment.
 

"The brain continues to grow and develop after birth. The earlier the diagnosis, the better it is. Then we can inform families and begin therapies which will improve symptoms and outcome," said Michelle Hartley-McAndrew, assistant professor at University at Buffalo (UB) in the US.

"We offer many educational interventions to help children with autism reach the same developmental milestones met by children with typical development," said Kathy Ralabate Doody, an assistant professor at SUNY Buffalo State College.
