Youtube said on Thursday that more content in its home and trading tabs will now be related to regional languages. This change will be applicable to every user of India from Thursday. For this, the user will not have to make any changes to the settings.
The Google-owned video sharing platform released the statement saying, "The website will automatically recognize the user's preferred Indian language, such user interface will be possible through language, history, and location."
These languages include Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu.
If YouTube has chosen the wrong language for the user, it can be changed by going to the bottom of the desktop page. To change the language in Android and iOS mobile apps, go to the device settings. YouTube also said that users can view more and more content in their language. After this, the preferred language will be changed automatically.
The company says that after the change, users will be able to view more and more content in regional languages. From cinema to music, especially for the first time on YouTube, the user will like it. The trading section will also show popular videos of the language of your choice.
