Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are now finally married. The couple will be hosting their first wedding reception in Delhi today. PeeCee has been sharing a few pictures from their wedding ceremony making everyone smile in anticipation for more whilst gushing over the adorable chemistry shared by the newlyweds. The wedding day was one of the happiest day but PETA belives that it was not a happy day for the animals.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) India chapter on Monday called out newlyweds Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas for using elephants and horses at their wedding procession. PETA India took to Twitter and slammed the couple for using animals. The Tweet reads, “Dear @priyankachopra and @nickjonas. Elephants for weddings live and chains and horses are controlled with whips, spiked bits. People are rejecting elephant rides and having horse-free weddings. Congrats, but we regret it was not a happy day for animals,” the animal rights’ organisation wrote on the microblogging site.

The couple, who left Jodhpur on Monday, also trolled by Netizens for hypocrisy on using fireworks. On Diwali, the actor had urged people not to burn firecrackers and celebrate a pollution-free festival of lights.
