About the film:
Parched has theme that women can articulate their needs and desires. She has the right to decide what they want. They can articulate their needs and desires. And they can have power not to take abuse and violence. After Pink, Parched is the bonus on subject to discuss the better outcome of issue of women.

Parched is storyline based on rural area of Rajasthan village and protagonist in the film is women.
The first character Tannishtha Chatterjee played the role of Rani is a widow all set to marry her young son (Riddhi Sen) to a girl (Leher Khan) of neighbouring village.

Second character played by (Radhika Apte) Lajjo is a childless woman in an abusive marriage.

Third one is Bijli (Surveen Chawla) who played role of a local dancer.

All these women have parched life of abandonment and witnessed  of brutal pleasure.

Leela Yadav showcase the sequences of women empowerment, women desires of sex and being open about gestures like mobile phones etc in a hilarious scene. But also Parched left us in restlessness having violence unleashed on the women. Sometimes scenes have unnecessary showing of violence.

Film has good line up and Radhika has stole the show. Every actors are good enough in their role. Portrayed very well by camera artist. Well can watch the movie and its subject can make you feel for women.

Movie ends up in good note after problematic journey.
