Puneri Paltan kept their hopes alive of winning their maiden Pro Kabaddi title as they edged past UP Yoddha 40-38. Deepak Hooda-led Pune team made a strong come back after trailing in the starting 10 minutes of first half. Deepak scored Super 10 and Girish Maruti Ernak scored a High 5 for Pune as continued their unbeaten run against UP Yoddha. In the next match, Pardeep Narwal’s dominance guided Patna Pirates to a comprehensive victory over Haryana Steelers. Two times defending champions Patna Pirates will next face Puneri Paltan in Eliminator 3. Pardeep became the first player to score over 30 raid points in a match.
