In the field of technology, people trust iOS more than Android operating system. According to the experts and tech geeks, Android is not as safe as iOS, Apple gives a lot of time and researchers to the security of their operating system. But according to the Adrian Ludwig, Director, Android Security at Google, in the matter of security Android can compete with iOS easily. And they are constantly working on the betterment of its security issues to make it even far better than its rival company.

In a conference of O’Reilly Security in Manhattan USA, Ludwig shares “how Android's open source nature will put it in a much better place, in the long run.” He also said “he don’t think iPhone is better than android in any way. For almost all threat models, they are nearly identical in terms of their platform-level capabilities,”

According to the Ludwig, Google Pixel phone are as amazing as iPhone when the matter is security. And in future Android easily beat iPhone security system because of the constant improvements in the system. He added, "In the long term, the open ecosystem of Android is going to put it in a much better place.” Open source ecosystem becomes the strength of Android very soon.

As an example, he took the infamous Stage fright bug that plagued mindsets last year, and said, "At this point, we still don't have any confirmed instances of exploitation in the wild." During his speech, Ludwig pressed mostly on how secure Android is, and even said that it is practically impossible for anyone to target a large number of people at the same time.

We all are waiting to see how this open source ecosystem converts an Android operating system into the safest one.
