Kolkata: In Polba village, which is 60 kilometres away from the city two persons who suspects of being thieves were caught and beaten by the Villagers. They both were even hit by the Police officials too.
The incident took place around 4:00 am on the Tuesady morning. Village people saw the water pump missing and in connection with it caught four people and tied two of them with a tree.
On reaching the spot, When one of the thieves said that the police take hafta from them, one of the officer with his lathi beat him. The officers then took all four of them to the police station.
