The President Pranab Mukherjee yesterday began his two-day visit to West Bengal. Today on the second day he is scheduled to distribute the 2.5 crore LPG connection under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojna ( PMUY).
The President would be distributing the LPG connections to Below Poverty Line (BPL) beneficiaries in his former Lok Sabha Constituency Jangipur.
At the occasion, Dharmendra Pradhan, Minister of State (Independent Charge), Petroleum and Natural Gas and Abhijeet Mukherjee, Congress MP from Jangipur will also be present.
