Vladimir Putin on Thursday, in Moscow said that India is a “Privileged Strategic Partner” of Russia. He also said that Russia has always been the number one supplier of weapons and defence technology to India. Putin also said that Moscow and Russia will totally back India in the fight against terror.

These were the Words of the President of Russia. He will be coming to Goa for the five nation meeting or the BRICS (Brasil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) SUMMIT.

"Russia remains in the lead in terms of both direct supplies of most advanced weapons and military equipment and conducting joint researches with India as well as producing goods for military purposes. Our countries actively collaborate in the military technical field," Putin said in an exclusive interview to IANS and Sputnik news agencies.
