Rupee opens stronger against US Dollar by 15 paise

On Thursday, the rupee opened nearly 15 paise higher at 67.04 against the dollar. The domestic equity market open green. The 30-share Sensex was trading over 150 points higher at 28,446, while the 50-share NSE Nifty was up 44 points at 8,813.

The rupee was trading 22 paise up at 66.97 against the dollar.

After RBI policy rate accounted on Wednesday the domestic currency fix 22 paise up at 67.19 against good come back.

Although the Reserve Bank of India policy remains unchanged. On Wednesday, the Foreign institutional investors buy shares worth Rs 270.30 crore with gross purchases and gross sales of Rs 4,393.68 crore and Rs 4,123.3 crore, respectively.
