Bollywood superstar Salman Khan apart from acting loves painting but hasn't sold any of his work till date. Though he has gifted many of his work including a painted wall portrait to his sis Arpita Khan Sharma, a portrait of two lovers to Kareena Kapoor Khan, a monochrome painting to Asin also paintings to Kabir Khan and Mahesh Manjrekar.

But back in a year, a portrait of a mother and son painted by Salman was demanded by a businessman in a price of Rs 20 lakh.

But Salman thought that the price was too small later he sold it in the sum of 1 crore and invested the money in his Being Human foundation.

However, according to a source, "Salman's paintings are all about the emotions of life. They are focussed on love, family ties and the oneness of religion, which are all feelings that resonate with the actor. They are extremely personal and he does not paint for money or fame; he does it for the joy and peace it brings him. His family and friends are always gifting him canvases, paints and brushes, but Salman insists that his best works are on life-sized frames with hands. Those will be the paintings up for purchase too."
