New Delhi [India], Oct 28: Rajinikanth starrer ‘2.0’, the much-awaited music launched at a grand event in Dubai Friday evening.

This grand event witnessed the affable presence of stars like Karan Johar, Rana Daggubati, AR Rahman, Dhanush and many others were under the same roof.

Akshay Kumar, who plays the role of a villain in the movie, was seen setting the stage on fire with his tremendous performance. Amy Jackson who plays a droid in the movie also gave a stunning performance at the event.

'2.0', which brings Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Shankar together for the first time, is a sequel of 2010 film 'Enthiran' (released in Hindi as 'Robot') that also featured Aishwariya Rai Bachchan opposite the Thalaiva Rajinikanth as his girlfriend.

 Music of ‘2.0’ Composed by maestro Oscar winning AR Rahman, the album is said to have three songs, out of which, two has been revealed.

The film ‘2.0’ will be on air in a special 3D format and is set to the hit the silver screens on the Republic weekend in 2018.
